At Buy Roof Slate Ltd (together with our sister company International Slate Supplies Ltd), our community and customers have always come first. Today, we’re coming together with grateful hearts to support someone very special in her fight for life.
We’ve all been deeply moved by the news that Angie Best – beloved model, fitness advocate, and mother of Calum Best – is bravely battling advanced colon cancer that has spread to her liver. Her son Calum has shared the emotional journey the family is on and launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking help to cover the costs of specialist treatment and care they simply can’t access without financial support.
From now until Friday, 27 February 2026, we will be running a fundraiser across both of our companies to help Angie get the treatment she urgently needs. If anyone would like to donate separately, please contact us directly to discuss.
For every slate sold during this period – at Buy Roof Slate Ltd and International Slate Supplies Ltd – we will donate £0.02 directly towards Angie’s treatment.
